In January 2024, Cablecraft Motion Controls, a manufacturing company, announced the acquisition of the Wholesale Distribution and Custom Manufacturing Service businesses from Instrument Sales and Services (ISS), a global sourcing solutions provider. ISS, located in Portland, Oregon, provides product lifecycle solutions across the heavy truck, recreational goods, construction, and agriculture industries. Jonathan Saltzman, Managing Partner at Torque Capital Group, said that this is the third addition to the Cable Manufacturing & Assembly platform, after the acquisitions of Glassmaster Controls and Cablecraft. The addition of ISS is expected to accelerate Cablecraft’s growth plans. The product range of ISS, customer expertise, and strong brand make it an ideal fit for Cablecraft to increase its offerings of engineered motion control solutions across various sectors.
